Features + Economy:
The Model 4828 is a 28-band, R-C active graphic equalizer featuring a level control with up to 20dB gain; EQ in/out switch; adjustable high and low-pass filters; and 7 LED bargraph headroom indicator. The filter controls are 60mm slide faders with center detents and dust shields. 

28 One-Third Octave Filters
31.5Hz - 16kHz:
On I.S.O. standard frequency centers. Minimum phase type, ±12dB range. Close center frequency tolerances, ±5%. Adjacent filters sum with less than 0.125dB ripple. The low noise specification is not degraded with adjustment of the filters. 

60mm Linear Controls with Center Detents and Dust Shields:
The longest control available for a 3.5 in. chassis. Provides greater EQ adjustment resolution. 

EQ In/Out Switch:
Operates silently for convenient comparison. 

High and Low-Pass Filters:
Band-limit unwanted subsonic and ultrasonic noise. Continuously adjustable, 12dB/octave high-pass 12Hz - 240Hz and low-pass 40kHz - 4kHz 

High Current, Balanced, Differential Output Stage:
Will drive 600 ohms to +21dBu while maintaining 0.02% THD.

Worst Case.  Distortion: Less than 0.02% THD into 600 ohms, 20kHz bandwidth.  Filter Type: R-C active, single-pole pair.  Filter Control Centers: 28 one-third octave filters on I.S.O. standard frequency centers from 31.5Hz through 16kHz.  Filter Center Frequency Tolerance: ±5%.  Filter Controls: 60mm linear potentiometers with center detents and integral dust covers.  Filter Control Range: ±12dB at center frequency, Detent at 0dB (±0.5dB).  EQ In/Out Switch: Front panel mounted. By-passes 1/3 octave filters only. Silent operation. High-Pass Filter: -3dB point adjustable from 12Hz -240Hz, 12dB/octave response.  Low-Pass Filter:  -3dB point adjustable from 40kHz -4kHz, 12dB/octave response.  Gain: 0dB to +20dB. Continuously variable.  Headroom Indicator: 7 LED bargraph display, 3dB resolution.  Connectors: Latching XLR-3 with chassis-grounded shells.  Redundant 1/4" TRS.  Input/Output Circuits: Active servo-balanced differential. Can operate unbalanced with no change in dynamic range.  Common Mode Rejection: Greater than 85dB at or below 1kHz and greater than 65dB at 10kHz.  Input Impedance: 50 kilohms, balanced. 25 kilohms, unbalanced.  Output Impedance: 102 ohms, balanced. 51 ohms, unbalanced.  Power Requirements: 90 - 130 / 180 - 260 VAC, 50/50Hz, user selectable on rear panel, 15W.
